South Korean girl group fromis_9 – aka Roh Ji-sun, Song Ha-young, Lee Sae-rom, Lee Chae-young, Lee Na-gyung, Park Ji-won, Lee Seo-yeon, Baek Ji-heon and Jang Gyu-ri – formed on the reality show Idol School in 2017 and launched their debut EP, To. Heart, in 2018. The EP went to Number 4 on South Korea's Gaon Album Chart in January 2018, with a follow-up, To. Day, arriving in June 2018 on Stone Music. The record was made without Jang Gyu-ri, who had signed up as a contestant on South Korean reality competition series Produce 48. The following June, fromis_9 issued their first single album, Fun Factory, which featured the title track "Fun!" and reached number 2 on the Gaon Album Chart, a new record for the group. Third EP, My Little Society, came next. Released in September 2020, the EP – which contained lead single "Feel Good (Secret Code)" – went to Number 3 in South Korea. May 2021 saw the arrival of their second single album, 9 Way Ticket, with the group announcing in August that they had parted ways with Off The Record and joined Pledis Entertainment. They marked the changeover in September 2021 with the release of their special single album Talk & Talk, also scoring their first-ever music show win on SBS MTV's The Show with "Talk & Talk." Fourth EP, Midnight Guest, landed in January 2022.
