The Audition

The Audition was an American rock band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 2003. The group initially consisted of Ryan O'Connor on drums and Joe Lussa on bass, along with other musicians who would eventually include Danny Stevens as lead vocalist, Seth Johnson and Timmy Klepek on guitars. Their first EP, Every Scar Tells a Story, was followed by their second EP, All in Your Head, in 2004. In 2005, The Audition signed with Victory Records and released their debut album, Controversy Loves Company. The band's second studio album, Champion, was released in 2008 and marked their first entry into the Billboard 200 at number 157. They performed at major festivals including the Warped Tour and SXSW. After leaving Victory Records in 2010, The Audition released an EP titled Chapter II in 2012.
