Wolves at the Gate

Wolves at the Gate is an American Christian metalcore and post-hardcore band formed in 2008 in Cedarville, Ohio. Founded by Steve Cobucci and Ben Summers, the group's name refers to a biblical warning in the book of Acts. After releasing the demo EP Prisoner of War in 2009 and the independent EP We Are the Ones in 2010, the ensemble signed with Solid State Records in 2011. Their debut studio album, Captors, followed in July 2012 and reached number 7 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart and number 17 on the Hard Rock Albums chart. The band continued their recording career with the albums VxV in 2014, Types & Shadows in 2016, and Eclipse in 2019. Following the 2022 release of Eulogies, the group issued the covers project Lost in Translation in 2023.
