Victoria Duffield

Victoria Eileen Elizabeth Duffield was born on 1 January 1995 in Abbotsford, British Columbia, and became a Canadian singer, dancer and actor. After reaching the top six on YTV’s The Next Star in 2010, she released the EP Secrets and the single "Fever" in 2010, which led to a contract with Warner Music Canada. Her debut single "Shut Up and Dance" peaked at number 12 on the Canadian Hot 100 in 2011 and was certified platinum. The album Shut Up and Dance followed in 2012, featuring the gold‑certified single "Break My Heart". In 2014 she released Accelerate, whose lead single "More Than Friends" reached number 49. After parting with Warner, she independently issued Day Won in 2019 and later pursued a career in real‑estate, retiring from music in 2024.
