Todd Terje

Real name Terje Olsen, born in Mjøndalen on May 11, 1981, Todd Terje is a Norwegian DJ, producer and composer specializing in the nu-disco style. Active since the mid-2000s, he has made a name for himself with his innovative remixes and nu-disco productions, combining retro synthesizers, funk grooves and playful melodic arrangements. His landmark debut EP, Eurodans (2010) and the compilation Remaster of the Universe, released the same year, were followed by the single "Inspector Norse " (2012), which helped establish his international reputation on the electronic scene. He follows this up with Ragysh (2011) and It's the Arps (2012), acclaimed EPs like the singles "Lanzarote", "Standbar " and "Spiral Q" in 2013. In 2014, synthpop fans noticed his cover of the Robert Palmer hit "Johnny and Mary", featuring Bryan Ferry. The track features on debut album It's Album Time, a record celebrated for its fusion of disco, house and electronic pop, characterized by influences from cosmic music, 1980s synth-pop and jazz-funk. Terje regularly collaborates with other Norwegian artists such as Lindstrøm and Prins Thomas, and performs worldwide at clubs and festivals, renowned for his dynamic sets and joyful, melodic approach to electro-disco. His releases include the EP It's It's Remix Time Time (2015) and The Big Cover-Up with The Olsens in 2016, followed by the singles "Maskindans" (2017), "Delorean Dynamite" (2022) and "Countdown " (2023).
