Caribou

Canadian Daniel Snaith first made a name for himself as Manitoba in the early 2000s, releasing a number of critically acclaimed electro EPs. The DJ, singer and producer then changed his stage name to Caribou before releasing his first opus, The Milk of Human Kindness, in 2005. Caribou resurfaced two years later with the equally popular Andorra. In 2010, their third album, Swim, takes fans by surprise, revealing a surprising electro/disco exercise. Buoyed by his growing reputation, Caribou deepened his minimalist, danceable universe on the 2014 album Our Love, the successor to another alias, Daphni. Under this latter stage name, he delivered Joli Mai in 2017, before returning to the Caribou suit in 2020 with the album Suddenly, which was first unveiled through the single "Never Come Back".
