Reggie and the Full Effect

Reggie and the Full Effect is an American rock project formed in 1998 by James Dewees, former keyboardist of The Get Up Kids. The project’s debut album Greatest Hits 1984–1987 was released in 1999 through Second Nature Recordings, followed by Promotional Copy in April 2000 via Vagrant Records. The project gained attention for its unconventional and joke-driven presentation, including Under the Tray... (2003), which famously hid its CD beneath the tray in the packaging. In 2005, Dewees released Songs Not To Get Married To, featuring the singles “Get Well Soon” and “Take Me Home, Please,” and subsequently toured extensively with acts such as Alkaline Trio, My Chemical Romance, and Hellogoodbye. In 2008, he released Last Stop: Crappy Town.
