Off!

Off!, an American hardcore punk supergroup, was formed in Los Angeles, California, in late 2009 by Keith Morris on vocals, Dimitri Coats on guitar, Steven Shane McDonald on bass, and Mario Rubalcaba on drums. The band's inception followed a collaboration between Morris and Coats during the production of an unfinished Circle Jerks album. Off! made its live debut at the 2010 South By Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas. The group released their first EP, 1st EP, in 2010, which was later included in the compilation First Four EPs. Their self-titled full-length album followed in 2012. Off! gained attention for their short, intense punk songs and notable collaborations, including Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers wearing an Off! hat during his band's tours to promote them. The band released Wasted Years in 2014 and announced a feature film and soundtrack album titled Watermelon in 2019, though the Kickstarter campaign was unsuccessful. In July 2021, Off! revealed new members Autry Fulbright II on bass and Justin Brown on drums, replacing McDonald and Rubalcaba, respectively. The band released their fourth album, Free LSD, in September 2022. Mario Rubalcaba rejoined the band as drummer in September 2023. Off! announced three farewell shows for July 2024 to promote the studio album and theatrical release of their feature film, also titled Free LSD.
