NONONO, a Swedish dance-pop band, was formed in 2013 in Stockholm. The group consisted of Tobias Jimson and Michel Flygare, known by their aliases Astma and Rocwell respectively, along with singer-songwriter Stina Wäppling. Before forming NONONO, Jimson and Flygare had produced songs for bands like Icona Pop, and Wäppling had completed her psychology studies. NONONO's breakthrough came in 2013 with the release of their debut single "Like the Wind", which gained them initial online attention. Their first television appearance followed in June 2013 on Swedish breakfast television. The band's major breakthrough occurred when British BBC moderator Zane Lowe featured their debut single "Pumpin Blood" on his show, leading to a record deal with Warner Music Group. Released in August 2013, "Pumpin Blood" became their first chart success and was used as the soundtrack for films such as Fack ju Göhte and Endless Love. The band released their debut album We Are Only What We Feel in March 2014. In September 2018, NONONO released their second studio album Undertones, which included the single "Dancing (Mumbai Wedding)". A third full-length titled Just Playing Dead Serious followed in 2024.
