Moneen, an indie rock band from Brampton, Ontario, Canada, formed in 1999 after the dissolution of Perfectly Normal. Their first release was the EP Smaller Chairs for the Early 1900s. In 2003, Moneen released the album Are We Really Happy with Who We Are Right Now?, which charted on the !earshot National Top 50. The band signed to Vagrant Records and released notable albums, including The Red Tree (2006) and The World I Want to Leave Behind (2009). Moneen toured extensively, including appearances on the Warped Tour in 2006. The band went on hiatus after 2013 but reunited for various performances.
