Acourve, a South Korean duo consisting of vocalist Jaehee and producer Godak, was formed by Bridge Media in 2013 and debuted on 25 October 2013 with “What I Want To Say”. The pair began their career under Bridge Media and later released the EP First Step, marking a gradual expansion of their digital discography through standalone singles rather than a traditional album rollout. In 2017, Acourve re-debuted under Starship Entertainment with the single “Loved U” on 27 April 2017, followed later that year by additional digital releases including “One Rainy Day”. Subsequent singles included “The Night We Parted” in July 2018 and “Drunk in Love” in 2019. During their active years, Acourve contributed songs to original soundtracks and participated in the Korean indie and pop music scenes through collaborative projects and live performances. Several of their singles achieved documented placements on South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart, including “The Lovely Song When We Parted” and “Wait a Minute”, reflecting modest digital visibility rather than mainstream chart dominance. The duo departed from Starship Entertainment on 26 May 2022, bringing their activities under the Acourve name to a close while leaving behind a catalog defined by melodic pop songwriting and understated R&B influences.
