Marina Allen is an American musician, born in Los Angeles, California. She began her music career with the release of her debut EP Original Goodness in May 2021, followed by her first full-length album Candlepower, released through Fire Records in June 2021. The album garnered positive reviews and established her as a notable figure in contemporary folk music. In August 2022, she released the EP Halfway Home and her second studio album Centrifics. Her third album, Eight Pointed Star, was released on June 7, 2024. Throughout her career, Marina Allen has been recognized for her work as a guitarist, singer, and songwriter, contributing to the folk music genre with notable songs such as "Oh, Louise" and "Sleeper Train".
