Lifter Puller

Lifter Puller was an American indie rock band from the Twin Cities and Boston area, formed in 1994. Known for their innovative sound featuring angular riffs and synth-infused melodies, they released three albums: Lifter Puller (1997), Half Dead and Dynamite (1997), and Fiestas and Fiascos (2000). The band disbanded in 2000 but reunited for several notable performances, including shows in 2002, 2003, 2015, and 2016. Their music was compiled into Soft Rock in 2002, and all original records were reissued digitally with bonus tracks in 2009, accompanied by a limited-edition book. Lifter Puller received a star on the outside mural of Minneapolis' First Avenue nightclub, recognizing their contributions to the local music scene.
