Heaven's Basement

Heaven's Basement, formed in 2008 in England, emerged from a collective of musicians including Aaron Buchanan (lead vocals), Sid Glover (lead guitar), Rob Ellershaw (bass), and Chris Rivers (drums), who began performing locally before securing a support slot for Thunder on a UK tour. Their early output featured the self‑titled EP Heaven's Basement (2008) and the Unbreakable EP (2011), establishing a reputation for high‑energy live shows across Europe. Signing with Red Bull Records in 2011, the band released their debut studio album Filthy Empire on 4 February 2013, a project produced by John Feldmann that entered the UK BBC Rock Album Chart at number 9 and received a KKKK rating from Kerrang!. Singles "Fire, Fire", "Nothing Left to Lose", and "I Am Electric" accompanied the album; "Fire, Fire" peaked at number 11 on the US Mainstream Rock chart. The group toured extensively with acts such as Halestorm, The Darkness, Seether, and The Pretty Reckless, and appeared at major festivals including Download, Sonisphere, and Hard Rock Hell. In October 2015, lead singer Aaron Buchanan departed, and by January 2017 Heaven's Basement announced its dissolution, concluding a decade of touring and recording that left a measurable imprint on the hard‑rock scene.
