Grandson

The American-Canadian musician Grandson was born under the name Jordan Edward Benjamin on October 25, 1993 in Englewood, USA. At the age of three, he moved with his family to Toronto, Canada, where he grew up and went to school. in 2014, Benjamin moved to Los Angeles to build his music career. Since the end of 2015, the singer has been releasing his music under the name Grandson. His debut single "Bills" was released in 2016 and was followed shortly afterwards by the songs "things change", "Bury Me Face Down" and "Kiss Bang". Grandson entered the Canadian and US charts with the single "Blood // Water" (2017), which climbed to number 17 in the USA and number 19 in Canada. His first EP A Modern Tragedy Vol. 1 was released in summer 2018. Grandson released his debut album Death of an Optimist at the end of 2020, reaching number 7 in the US heat charts. The same year also saw the release of the single "Zen", a collaboration with X Ambassadors and K. Flay, which reached number 9 in the Canadian charts. The musician contributed the song "Rain" with Jessie Reyez to the 2021 film The Suicice Squad. Together with Travis Barker and Kesha, he also released the single " Drop Dead" in 2021.
