ERRA

ERRA, sometimes stylized Erra, formed in 2009 in Birmingham, Alabama, began as a high‑school collective of Alex Ballew, Jesse Cash, Adam Hicks, Garrison Lee, and Alan Rigdon, with Ballew on drums and Cash on guitar and clean vocals. The band self‑released the Erra EP in 2009 and Andromeda in 2010, attracting Tragic Hero Records and leading to the 2011 release of Impulse; the album reached the top of the Billboard Heatseekers chart. After a lineup shift that saw Sean Price replace Hicks and Ian Eubanks take lead vocals, Moments of Clarity (2014) and Drift (2016) followed, both debuting at Number 1 on Heatseekers. Signing with Sumerian Records produced Neon (2018) and the self‑titled Erra (2021) under UNFD, the latter featuring collaborations such as "Vanish Canvas" with Courtney LaPlante. The band toured extensively with August Burns Red, TesseracT, and Born of Osiris, and released the single "Pale Iris" from the 2024 album Cure. In 2026, Silence Outlives the Earth was released, with singles "Further Eden" and "Echo Sonata" preceding its March 6 release.
