DJ Spinall

Born on June 2, 1984, in Lagos State, Oluseye Desmond Sodamola, professionally known as Spinall (formerly DJ Spinall), is a Nigerian DJ and producer who burst onto the scene in the mid-2010s with his smooth blend of trap-tinged Afrobeats. Released in October 2017, his breakthrough third album Dreams put him on the map, boasting guest appearances from the likes of Wizkid, Davido, Mr. Eazi, Olamide, and more homegrown stars. For his fourth album Iyanu, released the following year, he rallied more guests, with lead singles featuring Wizkid ("Nowo") and Kizz Daniel ("Baba"). In 2019, he popped up in Beyoncé's hour-long documentary Beyoncé Presents: Making The Gift, which chronicled the development, production, and filming of The Lion King: The Gift. Spinall's fifth album Grace was released in 2020 and in 2022 he hooked up with Summer Walker, DJ Snake, and Äyanna for Afro-pop scorcher "Power," which was featured on the soundtrack for the short film The Flipper’s Skate Heist.
