Ezekiel Adekunle Ajibade, born 18 March 2004 in Lagos, Nigeria, entered the music scene as a vocalist and songwriter. He began by uploading demos to online platforms, gaining attention with early singles that showcased his blend of Afroâbeat and contemporary pop. His debut album, Superstar (2021), featured the hit "Essence" with Tems, which entered the Billboard Hotâ¯100 at number 58 on 7â¯Mayâ¯2021 and later peaked at numberâ¯8 on the UKâ¯R&B chart. In the same year, he collaborated with American artist Justinâ¯Bieber on the single "Essence" featuring Tems, and his work on "One Dance" with Drake and Wizkid earned a Billboard Hotâ¯100 topâ10 placement. He released The Great (2021), and later The Great (2022), which included collaborations with Tems and Justinâ¯Bieber, reinforcing his presence in international charts. His fifth studio album, More Love, Less Ego, arrived towards the end of 2022. He continued his upward trajectory with the release of his sixth studio album Morayo in 2024. A dedication to his late mother, the LP's two singles, "Piece of My Heart" with Brent Faiyaz and "Kese (Dance)", broke streaming records in Nigeria. REAL, Vol. 1 EP, which featured the single "Turbulence", appeared in 2026 as a collaboration with Asake.
