Laycon

Olamilekan Massoud Al-Khalifah Agbeleshebioba (November 8, 1993), better known as Laycon, is a Nigerian MC and singer-songwriter who performs in the Afrorap genre. Born and raised in the city of Lagos, he began writing songs at a very young age and, after a series of appearances at live events and competitions, he was signed to the Fierce Nation record label in 2019. That year, he released his debut single "Fierce," included in his EP Who Is Laycon?, and issued the mixtapes Any Given Monday (The Playlist) and Any Given Monday II. Following the release of the single "Senseless" in August 2020, Laycon experienced a surge in popularity after winning the fifth season of the reality program Big Brother Naija. Preceded by the singles "Wagwan" and "Fall For Me," his studio debut Shall We Begin appeared in 2021. The afrobeat-tinged collaborative single "New Dimension" featuring Made Kuti arrived in 2022 and reached Number 3 on the Brazilian Top 100.
