DAY6 (Even of Day)

Day6 (Even of Day), also known as just Even of Day, is a South Korean pop group formed as the sub-unit (or spin-off) from the original band Day6. The group is part of JYP Entertainment. The band members are Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon. The group's formation came after the Day6 album The Book of Us: The Demon (2020) and a hiatus caused by the mental health issues of members Sungjin and Jae. After months of speculation and rumors about a new sub-unit, the formation of Even of Day was announced in August 2020. Their debut EP, titled The Book of Us: Gluon, was released as part of Day6’s "The Book of Us" series. It was well-received, debuting at number 3 on the Circle Albums Chart. In 2021, Even of Day released the single "So, This Is Love" on January 15, as part of the web music show Secret Atelier, followed by their first online concert, Online Party Night: The Arcane Salon. The group released their second extended play, Right Through Me (2021), which also peaked at number 3 on the South Korean charts. The band followed this up with another special online concert titled Day6 (Even of Day): Right Through Me. In 2022, Even of Day released a music video for the song "Darling on the Beach."
