Chixdiggit

Chixdiggit, a Canadian pop punk group from Calgary, Alberta, formed in 1991 by K.J. Jansen, Mark O’Flaherty, and Mike Eggermont, who initially sold T‑shirts to fund a drum kit. Their breakthrough came with the 1996 self‑titled Chixdiggit! released on Sub Pop Records, followed by From Scene to Shining Scene (2000) and Pink Razors (2005) under Honest Don’s and Fat Wreck Chords. The band toured internationally, supporting acts such as The Presidents of the United States of America and Groovie Ghoulies, and released the EP Safeways Here We Come (2011). Notable tracks include “Where’s Your Mom?” (1996) and “You’re Pretty Good” (2005). Former drummer Dave Alcock died in Calgary in 2023.
