Face to Face

Face to Face, a punk rock band from Victorville, California, was formed in 1991 by Trever Keith and Matt Riddle. The duo initially played heavy metal under the name Victoria Manor before transitioning to punk rock with Zero Tolerance. Later changing their name to Face to Face, they began performing frequently in the Inland Empire and Orange County. Their breakthrough came with the release of "Disconnected" from Big Choice (1995), which received heavy rotation on KROQ radio in Los Angeles and appeared in films such as Tank Girl. The band's success continued with tours supporting notable acts like Sublime, NOFX, and The Offspring. In 1995, Matt Riddle left the band and was replaced by Scott Shiflett. Face to Face released their self-titled album that year, followed by Ignorance Is Bliss (1999) and Reactionary (2000). The band officially disbanded in September 2004 but reunited in April 2008 for a performance at The Glasshouse in Pomona, California. Since then, they have continued to perform and release new music, including Protection in 2016.
