Bivattchee was a Japanese rock band formed in 1997 and active until their disbandment in 2009. The group was founded at Hiroshima Shudo University’s folk song club and soon caught the attention of TAKEMURA from SNAIL RAMP, leading them to sign with SCHOOL BUS RECORDS. In January 2001, Bivattchee made their indie debut, and their first album, Aoi Karasu, sold over 70,000 copies despite being an independent release. They gained further recognition and signed with Sony Music's gr8! records, making their major debut in August 2003. One of their notable releases was "Taiyou no Mannaka e", which became well known for its energetic sound and uplifting lyrics. After leaving Sony Music, the band launched their own private label, Indigo Park, under K&A CO., LTD, and continued their activities independently. However, on October 2008, they announced their disbandment through their official website. Their final one-man live took place at Shibuya O-WEST on March 1, 2009, marking the end of their career.
