Color bottle

Color Bottle is a Japanese rock band formed in Sendai in 2004 by vocalist Masayuki Takemori, guitarist Hidenori Sato, bassist Taichi Akimoto, and drummer Takuya Saeki. After lineup changes, drummer Junji "Z" Okawa joined later that year. Their indie debut came in 2005 with the mini-album Kanjou Summit, and in 2006 they gained traction with singles like "Goodbye Boy." In 2007, they made their major debut under Dreamusic with the mini-album Saishoku Memory and earned attention through NHK coverage. Between 2007 and 2012, Color Bottle released several singles and albums, including Gutto Music (2008), Message in a Bottle (2010), and their self-titled album COLOR BOTTLE (2012). The single "Tamashii Drive"(2012) stands out as a fan favorite. In 2010, they launched their own label, SUPER SOUL COMPANY. Following a lineup reduction, the band went on indefinite hiatus in August 2018. However, they resumed activities in September 2023 as a duo consisting of Takemori and Okawa.
