Annisokay, a German band, was founded in 2007 in Halle. The band plays post-hardcore and alternative rock with metalcore elements. The name is based on Michael Jackson's song "Smooth Criminal", in which the protagonist Annie is robbed. Within two years of forming, the band released the demo recordings My Ticket to Reno (2008) and The Point You Will Still Miss (2009). They had previously issued their first music video, for the song "Hold My Hand", in 2007, followed by their debut EP, You, Always, in 2010. Annisokay has collaborated with several notable bands, including A Traitor Like Judas, Fear My Thoughts, and Empty Trash.
