French rapper Ziak, also known as Ziakimbo, has been adapting the codes of London drill music, his main source of inspiration, since 2020. Leaving no biographical details behind and limiting his communication to a few cryptic posts on social networks, the rapper never reveals his face in his clips, while comments are deactivated whenever he publishes a new clip. It was with the track "Rasputin " that he revealed himself in 2020. A rumor soon circulated, neither verified nor denied: Ziak was in fact the metamorphosis of rapper Mickeysiem. In any case, Ziak continued to progress throughout 2021 with tracks such as "Fixette", "C'est la vie", "Ronaldo" and "Galerie". At the end of the year, he releases his first album, Akimbo, which includes the tracks "Shonen" (No. 14) and "Rhum & machette", which records the collaboration of Maes. Above all, with "Fixette", he reaches number one in the French charts and is certified diamond. After Akimbo, the rapper took a two-year break and returned with a new album in 2023, Chrome, after performing at the Zénith in Paris. This opus included the track "Pistol & Zamal ", which reached number 29 in France. A further break followed in 2024, when Ziak prepared for his return at the end of the year with "Chassé-croisé", "Grabba", followed in early 2025 by "Room" and "Rien ne se remplace", the precursors of his third album Essonne History X (2025), which reached No. 3 on release and included collaborations with Kaaris, Josman, Jolagreen23, TH and Zed.
