Yoko Ishida

Yoko Ishida, born 石田 陽子 on October 7, 1973 in Niigata, Japan, is a Japanese singer who entered the entertainment industry after winning a contest to become an anime song singer in 1990. She made her debut in 1993 with "Otome no Policy", the ending theme for the Sailor Moon R anime. Initially signed under Hyper Voice Managements, Ishida later moved to Pioneer LDC (now Geneon Universal Entertainment) and changed her name spelling to 石田燿子. Her early singles include "Yasashisa no Tamatebako" and "Choppiri Chef Kibun". In 2003, she released her first EP たからもの. Ishida has performed theme songs for numerous anime series, including Prétear, Ai Yori Aoshi, the Ah! My Goddess TV series, and the Strike Witches series. She also contributed to the Para Para Max CD series. Her notable albums include Hyper Yocomix (2004), Single Collection (2007), and Rainbow Wonderland (2015). In addition to anime songs, Ishida has also sung children's songs.
