Víctor Mendívil, born December 26, 2005, in Obregón, Sonora, began making headway in Mexico’s urban and corrido tumbado scene with his breakthrough single “Hong Kong” in 2023, a collaboration with Óscar Maydon and Alemán that gained widespread attention for its genre-fusing energy. From there, he rapidly established himself by blending trap, rap, and Regional Mexican influences, contributing verses to tracks alongside artists like Junior H, Gabito Ballesteros, and Remp. His own releases such as “Mejores Jordans” (2024) with Óscar Maydon, “MURAKAMI” (2024) featuring Ángel Almáger, and “Tutankamón” (2025) showcased his gritty lyrical style and street-savvy delivery. As 2024 progressed, he issued notable singles like “GOET” and “Un Scar,” while appearances on remixes and features—“Bruta” (2025) with El Alfa & Óscar Maydon and associations with Steve Aoki and Becky G—expanded his reach beyond the regional circuit. By mid‑2025, his debut album Tutankamón album combined these tracks into a cohesive project capturing his stylistic evolution, from raw underground rapper to rising face of Mexico’s new urban generation. Throughout, he has remained signed to Rico Muerto Music under Óscar Maydon’s guidance, valuing authenticity and independence in his artistic identity.
