Tito Double P

Tito Double P (born Jesús Roberto Laija García in Tepic, Nayarit, on August 18, 1997, and raised in Culiacán, Sinaloa) emerged first as a writer in the corridos tumbados wave before stepping forward as a solo artist. After posting himself singing corridos in 2021, he began working closely with his cousin Peso Pluma, then launched his own recording run in 2023 with “Dembow Bélico” (with Luis R. Conriquez and Joel de la P) and high-visibility appearances on Peso Pluma’s Génesis (2023) on tracks including “Gavilán II” and “La People.” In 2024, he reached a wider audience through “La People II” (with Peso Pluma and Joel de la P) and released his first studio album, Incómodo (2024), a breakout project that pushed him onto the Billboard 200 and later topped the U.S. Latin and Regional Mexican album charts. He kept the pace in 2025 with a steady flow of singles and collaborations, including Belinda’s “La Cuadrada,” and capped the year by teaming again with Peso Pluma for the joint album DINASTÍA (2025), which crossed into the top tier of the Billboard 200 while leading the U.S. Latin and Regional Mexican charts.
