Vanco

Originally from Douglasdale, Johannesburg, Kudzai Mawoyo is an electronic music DJ and producer better known as Vanco. His universe, deeply rooted in Afro and tribal house, has seduced a wide audience, both on stage and across music platforms. Vanco has performed at many iconic venues around the world, including Ushuaïa Dubai (New Year's closing set), Blue Marlin Ibiza, Fabric London, Playa Soleil and Akasha, while touring between Ibiza, London, Bali, Dubai and Johannesburg, with a schedule that extends to Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. In 2025, his hit track "Ma Tnsani (Yalla Habibi)" in collaboration with Aya exploded internationally, racking up millions of listens and thousands of views. Previously, following the release of several singles since 2021, his other track "Keladi" set dancefloors alight. Vanco has also signed remixes for internationally renowned artists such as Moby, Black Eyed Peas & Daddy Yankee, as well as a viral bootleg of Tyla's hit "Water". His music is released by Sony, Universal, Defected/Sondela, as well as on his own Algra label, which showcases the new wave of African electronic talent.
