Unspoken

Unspoken are an American Christian rock band based in Nashville. The founding members, vocalist Chad Mattson and guitarist Mike Gomez met while they were on a missionary trip in the Dominican Republic. Back in the US Mattson's old friend Jon Lowry was added to the group, along with Puerto Rican drummer Ariel Munoz and keyboard player Alan Peino. Unspoken made their debut with the 2012 single 'Who You Are', followed by 'Lift My Life Up' in 2013. Their first album was 'Unspoken' in 2014, featuring the singles 'Start a Fire' and 'Just Give Me Jesus'. The acoustic EP 'Unplugged' followed in 2015 and in 2016 they released their second album 'Follow Through' with single 'The Cure'. Gomez left the band in 2018 and was replaced by Wiso Aponte. The band's third album was 2019's 'Reason'. The soulful rock of the title track was also a successful single.
