Tyketto

Tyketto, an American hard‑rock band formed in New York City in 1987 by former Waysted vocalist Danny Vaughn, guitarist Brooke St. James, bassist Jimi Kennedy, and drummer Michael Clayton, emerged from a graffiti‑painted wall that inspired their name. Their breakthrough came with the Geffen‑released debut album Don't Come Easy in 1991, featuring the single "Forever Young", which positioned them alongside Whitesnake and Bon Jovi. Subsequent releases included the album Strength in Numbers (1994), the album Shine (1995), a hiatus, and a comeback with the album Dig in Deep (2012) and the album Reach (2016), both receiving favorable reviews. After a break from releasing studio recorded material, Tyketto released the album Closer to the Sun in 2026. The group has toured extensively, including the Monsters of Rock Cruise and European festivals, and has maintained a steady output of live recordings such as the album Live From Milan (2017).
