Tritonal

Tritonal is an American duo of DJs, producers and remixers from Austin, Texas. Formed in 2008, the duo consists of Chad Cisneros and David Reed, who made their name on the trance scene before opting for a more varied house style. Known for their radio shows Air Up There and then Tritonia, on Sirius XM BPM, they released dozens of mix albums until 2023. Their first trance album, Piercing the Quiet (2011), proved a success, with several of its singles appearing in the specialist charts, particularly those sung by regular collaborator Cristina Soto. It was from 2013 and the Metamorphic I EP that the duo, founders of their own Enhanced Music label, shifted their style towards house and EDM, as evidenced by the albums Painting with Dreams (2016) and U & Me (2019). A regular festival guest, Tritonal has collaborated with many artists, including The Chainsmokers and Cash Cash, often on remixes. In 2021, the album Reverence stood out for its ambient and new age leanings, while its successor Coalesce (2022), took the progressive house route. In 2025, the single "Watch Us Glow" enters the Top 40 Dance Songs Airplay.
