The Mermen

The Mermen is an American instrumental rock band formed in 1989 in San Francisco, California, by guitarist and songwriter Jim Thomas. The group's music includes elements of surf and psychedelic rock. Its discography includes the debut album Krill Slippin' (1989), followed by Food for Other Fish (1994), Live at the Haunted House (1995), and A Glorious Lethal Euphoria (1995). The band subsequently released Songs of the Cows (1996), Only You (1997), The Amazing California Health and Happiness Road Show (2000), and In God We Trust (2010). The group also released the Christmas album Do You Hear What I Hear - A Very MERMEN Christmas (2012) and Splendeurs Et Miseres (2021). Several of the band's tracks featured on the soundtrack of the video game Road Rash 3D.
