The Floor Is Made of Lava

The Floor Is Made of Lava is a Danish rock group formed in 2006 in Copenhagen. The ensemble consists of Tobias Kippenberger, Simon Visti, Lars Morten Amstrup, and Asbjørn Nørgaard. The group released its debut studio album, All Juice, No Fruit, in 2007, produced by Troels Abrahamsen. This was followed by the remix recording All Juice, No Fruit Remixed in 2008. Early recordings included the singles “Do Your Sister” and “Told Her I'm From Compton”. In 2010, the band released the album Howl At The Moon, produced by Sebastian Wolff. The recording featured the singles “All Outta Love” and “Harder Than You Think”. Subsequent studio albums included Kids and Drunks (2012). The ensemble performed at the Roskilde Festival and opened for the groups Oasis, AC/DC, Nephew, and D-A-D.
