Maggie's Dream was an American alternative funk rock band, featuring members Raf Hernandez, Danny Palomo, Lonnie Hillyer, Tony James, and Draco Rosa. The group gained traction by touring with notable acts such as Fishbone and Faith No More. In 1990, Maggie's Dream signed to Capitol Records and released their self-titled debut album Maggieâs Dream. This hybrid of funk, soul, rock, and Latin influences included the single "Love & Tears." The band was often compared to artists like Lenny Kravitz, Living Colour, and Terrence Trent D'Arby.
