Sundara Karma

Sundara Karma, an English rock band formed in 2011 in Reading, Berkshire, consisted of lead vocalist and guitarist Oscar Pollock, lead guitarist Ally Baty, bassist Dom Cordell, and drummer Haydn Evans. The band's name is derived from Sanskrit words meaning "Beautiful Karma." In 2013, after uploading an early demo to SoundCloud, Sundara Karma was offered the opportunity to support prominent artists, marking their breakthrough moment. They released their debut album, Youth is Only Ever Fun in Retrospect, in 2017 via Sony Music and Chess Club, which peaked at number 24 on the UK Albums Chart and received Silver Certification from the British Phonographic Industry. In 2019, they released their second studio album, Ulfilas' Alphabet, produced by Stuart Price and Alex Robertshaw, which reached number 28 on the UK Albums Chart. Following a series of farewell concerts in late 2024, Sundara Karma announced their disbandment.
