Stryper

A Christian glam metal band, Stryper reigned over the genre from 1983 to 1992, with albums To Hell with the Devil (1986) and In God We Trust (1988) selling as well as secular artists. Having split up in 1992, Stryper broke bread again in 2005 with Reborn , having officially reformed in 2003. Despite a series of convincing albums, Stryper struggled to regain their former popularity. But No More Hell to Pay, which returned to the top of the Billboard charts in 2013, did just that.
