Canadian country artist Steven Lee Olsen has been an established name on the country music scene for a number of years having written hits for a wide variety of US country artists including Craig Morgan, The Judds and Melissa Lawson. He also wrote the song 'Street Lights' for Kevin Borg, the winner of the 2008 Swedish Idol TV reality talent show. In 2014 Olsen decided to take centre stage and make a serious attempt at building a solo career by signing for the Columbia Nashville record label. A year later he released his major label debut single 'Raised By a Good Time' which reached number three in the Country Charts and was subsequently certified gold. In 2015, almost ten years after he entered the music business he was nominated for a Rising Star award by the Canadian Country Music Association. In 2019 he released the single 'Hello Country'.
