Social Code

Social Code, a Canadian alternative rock group from St. Albert, Alberta, was formed in 1999 by high school friends Travis Nesbitt and Logan Jacobs under the name Fifth Season. The band's initial lineup included David Hesse on guitar and Ben Shillabeer on drums. Their first album, Patiently Waiting, under the name Fifth Season, was released in 2001. After discovering another band with the same name, they changed to Social Code. In 2003, they signed with Interscope Records and released their major label debut, A Year at the Movies, in 2004. The band independently produced their self-titled second album in 2007, which included successful singles like "Bomb Hands" and "The Shortest Line". Their third album, Rock 'N' Roll, was released in 2009. The band announced a permanent hiatus in June 2012, with members pursuing individual projects.
