So La Lune

Originally from the Comoros Islands, French rapper So La Lune was born in Lyon on February 11, 1997, an unofficial date of birth deduced from the lyrics of his songs, notably the track "Déconnecté", just like his real name Elarif Darouechi, credited in the very first tracks of the man who has also inherited numerous nicknames along the way, such as Tsuki, Verso and So Lala. Indeed, the young man, who spent part of his adolescence in his homeland, has always wanted to cultivate the mystery surrounding his personality. On his return from the Comoros, he decided to devote himself to music and headed for Paris. Having started out listening to a lot of French rap, he discovered a particular attraction to US rap, and in particular to artists such as Kodak Black, Young Thug and XXXTentacion. He shared his first tracks on social networks in 2019 and began to attract attention with the track "Billy". In 2020, he releases his first mixtape, named Tsuki, which allows the artist to take off throughout 2021, with no less than 7 EPs released during the year. His second mixtape, Fissure de Vie, was released in 2022, and featured a guest appearance by Da Uzi on the track "En bas". In 2023, now firmly established on the French rap scene, he released his first full-fledged album, L'Enfant de la Pluie, which featured contributions from artists such as Khali and SCH, and quickly reached the French Top 10 (No. 7). In May 2024, So La Lune announced the creation of his own label, Numéro 11, in reference to his date of birth and one of his tracks, "Freestyle Apollo 11", released in 2022. Three days later, this announcement was followed by the release of an EP, Numéro 11, on the occasion of his performance at the Zenith in Paris. The project's five tracks include the single "Titulaire" , which reaches number 199 in the French SNEP Top 200 Singles chart. So La Lune returned to the top of the French charts in May 2025 with the album Nouveau Produit.
