Sheryl Nome

Sheryl Nome is a fictional character and one of the central heroines and singers in the Macross Frontier (Macross F) anime franchise, which debuted in 2007. Voiced by Aya Endo and sung by May’n, Sheryl became an iconic figure in the Macross universe, known for her confident persona and powerhouse vocals. Designed by Risa Ebata, she made her music debut in 2008 with the double A-side single "Diamond Crevasse / Sagittarius☆9pm Don’t be late", which reached number. 3 on the Oricon charts. This was followed by "pink monsoon" in 2009, peaking at number 5, and the mini-album Universal Bunny, which climbed to number 3 that same year. Sheryl's musical performances, deeply integrated into the plot of Macross Frontier, helped elevate the series' blend of sci-fi and pop idol culture. Over the years, she has remained one of the most beloved characters in the Macross franchise, with her songs continuing to enjoy popularity. In 2024, Sheryl's legacy was celebrated with the release of the all-time best album Macross F All-Time Best Album “Nyannyan Greatest☆Hits!, compiling her most iconic tracks.
