Sean Riley & The Slowriders, a Portuguese band from Coimbra, formed in 2006. Their debut album Farewell was released on October 15th, 2007 and marked their breakthrough moment, showcasing their Americana roots with influences of folk, rock, and blues. In May 2009, they followed up with Only Time Will Tell, which included tracks like "Houses and Wives," "This Woman," and "Hold On." The band toured extensively across Portugal, the UK, Spain, and the Netherlands, including a performance at Eurosonic 2010. Their third album, It’s Been a Long Night, was released in January 2011, featuring the single "Silver." In April 2016, they released their self-titled fourth album, which is considered their most conceptual work to date.
