Born in Portland, Oregon, on April 28, 1982, Ruth Radelet was singer, keyboardist, guitarist and songwriter with the band Chromatics between 2005 and 2021. Blending alternative rock, synthpop and dream pop, Chromatics recorded seven studio albums, including five for the Italians Do It Better label, before taking an indefinite hiatus in 2021. Logically, Ruth Radelet launched a career under her own name with a handful of singles and an EP, The Other Side, released in 2022, on which she collaborated with producer Filip Nikolic. In 2025, the musician teamed up with Canadian duo Milk & Bone to compose the soundtrack for the adventure video game Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, also featuring the Nora Kelly Band.
