Hatchie

Harriette Pilbeam, known professionally as Hatchie, was born on May 4, 1993, in Brisbane, Queensland. She is an Australian singer-songwriter who began her musical journey as a child and later learned guitar, bass, piano, and clarinet. Pilbeam started her career with the band Babaganouj in 2011, before joining Go Violets, releasing two EPs before their disbandment in 2014. Hatchie made her solo debut with the single "Try" in May 2017, gaining significant attention in Australia. She signed with Ivy League Records and released "Sure" in November 2017. Hatchie's debut studio album Keepsake was released on June 21, 2019, with notable singles including "Without a Blush" and "Stay with Me". Her second album, Giving the World Away, followed on April 22, 2022. She then recorded Jumbo Pets with Babaganouj, before releasing her third solo full-length, Liquorice, in November 2025.
