Poets of the Fall

Poets of the Fall (POTF), a Finnish rock band formed in Helsinki in 2003 by Marko Saaresto and Olli Tukiainen, later joined by Markus “Captain” Kaarlonen. Their breakthrough came through collaboration with Remedy Entertainment, when Saaresto co-wrote “Late Goodbye” for Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, released in 2003, with the song later winning a G.A.N.G. Award in 2004. The band's debut album, Signs Of Life, was released in 2005 and topped the Finnish charts, earning platinum certification from IFPI Finland. Subsequent albums include Carnival Of Rust (2006), Revolution Roulette (2008), and Twilight Theater (2010).
