Swedish-American pop singer Peg Parnevik was born on September 3, 1995, in Stockholm, Sweden. The daughter of professional golfer Jesper Parnevik, she moved to the United States as a child and settled down in Jupiter, Florida. She rose to the public eye in 2015 through the Swedish reality show Parneviks, in which the family welcomed several Swedish celebrities into their US home. Thanks to the show's massive popularity in Sweden, Peg Parnevik was able to secure a contract with Sony Music Sweden, making her official recording debut in 2016 with the single "Ain't No Saint." The song went to Number 2 in Sweden and was followed by the 2017 EP Don't Tell Ma, whose title track entered the local charts at Number 79. Over the next few years, Peg Parnevik became a mainstay in the Sverigetopplistan with singles such as "Loafers" (2018), "Goodbye Boy" (2019), and "Somewhere Without Me" (2021), while also starring in her own reality show, Peg pÃ¥ turné. In 2023, she returned to the charts once with the single "Misslyckad & hatad," which peaked at Number 37 in Sweden. She followed up the same year with singles "Penny" (number 20) and "Bättre Nu (The Wedding)" (Number 1), and "Stockholm" (number 58). Following the success of "Vett", number 67 in 2024, Peg Parnevik released the single "Jag Har Hört (Hahaha)", which reached number 84 the following year, ahead of her debut album Ãldsta Barnet (number 17), which was reissued in a deluxe edition in 2026, featuring "Spelar ingen roll" (number 61).
