Nathan John Feuerstein, known professionally as NF, was born on March 30, 1991, in Gladwin, Michigan. He is an American rapper and singer who began his musical journey by performing at the "Festival de Bellas Artes" with Connection Church in Canton, Michigan. His early career saw him releasing his first album Moments under his real name in 2010, followed by the single "Alone" in August 2011. Feuerstein's breakthrough came with the release of his EP NF in 2014, which marked his entry into the Billboard charts and led to his signing with Capitol Christian Music Group. Feuerstein released his debut studio album Mansion in March 2015, followed by Therapy Session in April 2016. His third album, Perception, debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard 200 in October 2017, featuring the hit single "Let You Down," which reached Number 12 on the Hot 100. In July 2019, he released his fourth studio album The Search, and in April 2023, he launched his fifth studio album HOPE. NF's music has been featured in various media outlets, including ESPN, VH1, and NBC's Chicago P.D., and his videos have appeared on platforms like MTV.com. His mixtape CLOUDS (THE MIXTAPE) was released in March 2021, featuring the singles "PAID MY DUES" and "CLOUDS." In November 2025, NF released his EP titled FEAR.
