New Found Glory, formed in Coral Springs, Florida in 1997, emerged from the local punk scene with founding members Jordan Pundik (lead vocals), Ian Grushka (bass), Chad Gilbert (guitar), Steve Klein (guitar), and Cyrus Bolooki (drums). Their early EP Itâs All About the Girls (1997) captured regional attention, leading to a deal with DriveâThru Records and the release of Nothing Gold Can Stay (1999), which sold over 300,000 copies. In 2000 the band released the selfâtitled New Found Glory, featuring the single "Hit or Miss", which peaked at Number 15 on the Alternative Songs chart; the album debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and remained 21 weeks on the Billboard 200. Subsequent albums-Sticks and Stones (2002), Catalyst (2004), Coming Home (2006), Not Without a Fight (2009), Radiosurgery (2011), Resurrection (2014), Makes Me Sick (2017), Forever + Ever x Infinity (2020), and Listen Up! (2026)-each reinforced the bandâs presence on the popâpunk landscape, with singles such as "My Friends Over You", "All Downhill From Here", and "Radiosurgery" receiving significant radio play. The group toured extensively, including Warped Tour headlining slots and international tours, and shifted labels from DriveâThru/Geffen to Epitaph and later Hopeless Records. New Found Glory earned multiple RIAA gold certifications, chart placements, and recognition as key contributors to the early 2000s popâpunk revival, maintaining a steady output and influence within the genre.
