My Ticket Home, an American heavy metal band from Columbus, Ohio, was formed in 2008. The group initially released two EPs: Above the Great City and The Opportunity To Be. Their first three full-length albumsâTo Create A Cure, Strangers Only, and UnRealâexemplified a blend of metalcore and hardcore punk, with Strangers Only marking a departure into nu-metalcore. The band's discography includes notable singles such as "A New Breed" and "Hyperreal". My Ticket Home achieved chart success with To Create A Cure, which peaked at number 45 on the Billboard Indie Chart and number 12 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart.
